and that...that is why photoshop rocks my socks....just a couple of actions and the photos look fresher, more colorful, or vintage....whatever you please...

but it doesn't make bad photos look better...that requires practice and patience...I know...I've taken lots of pics over the years...

Rollerblades and money pants...

T likes to rollerblade....and for some reason the other day, he wanted to rollerblade in his pajama pants...

run kitty run....it's another one of those yellow cats the Man has a soft spot for....

Hi there...when he's like this...I almost want another one...then later....he goes on about how C is the "golden child" and we love him more...then I'm good with the 2 I have...

whoops....he almost fell...or maybe he's trying some new move...LOL

that smile...it gets me every time...this is possibly why we have 5 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 lizards, and 2 dogs...that smile...works on his dad too...

yes, they have 100 dollar bills on them...and Ben's been given a makeover on all of them...he loves them...

and that is how I spent part of my Mother's Day afternoon....just a boy, some rollerblades and money pants....

is there a way to keep him at this age?....I don't want them to grow up....

More photo tinkering....

it was so nice yesterday evening, the kids were playing outside and I thought I'd take Gidget out and let her do her thing and maybe take some pictures....btw, if anyone knows how to get an 11 week old dachshund to sit still for more than 5 seconds, I'd love to hear...and please, don't tell me with a treat...it won't work...girlfriend starts barking, jumping, whining and just generally turning into a hot mess....it's not pretty....lol...

so here's Mr. C....my baby....my little chubby cherub....ok, maybe cherub is stretching it a bit...

he's cute right....he's decided he wants to be a cowboy (he wants the shirts, the jeans, the hat, belt buckle...you name it...he wants it...)....I thought this photo was so cute...but a little blah...

I think I'll send this one to his Me-Me....she'll like it...

on to Mr. T (no, not "I Pity The Fool" Mr T. but MY Mr. T....eldest...fruit of my loins and all that...)

yeah, I realize you can't see his eyes or anything, but he's got some weird smudge stuff on his cheek, you can see a bit of it on the right there...and well, he looked GRUBBY....I thought this was cuter...

and the tinkered photo...doesn't he have the prettiest eyelashes?....don't tell him I said that...he'll get mad...cause pretty eyelashes aren't manly....LOL

ok....it's my one decent shot of the dog....look at that snoz....oh, it's growing....it will be so long soon...

I really did like this photo the way it is....I mean, she's being STILL for crying out loud....and oh my word, look at that face....don't you just wanna kiss it...

and then I decided to green up the grass....and make her coat look darker, like it is....she's my little wiener schnitzel fluffer nutter after all...

on to a subject that rarely moves...really, he just lays there all the time, or somewhere else...but, he lays around a lot...Milo....

the Man has a soft spot for yellow cats...he had one for years named Yeller (RIP)....sometimes, I'd like to take that soft spot and squish it up and throw it away....but I digress....LOL...Milo looks a little pale here...kind of more like our other yellow cat Slobber (so named because he DROOLS all over you when you pet him....)

now, that's better...

and just to prove he doesn't really do much...

see, there he goes...laying down....this of course does make him an easy photo snapping target...

fun fact....Milo is afraid of toads....and small dachshunds that bark at him trying to get him to play....

I'm not really sure what this is....it's across the road from my house....and it makes a neat photo...

but, I thought it could use a pop of color...it's a little blah...

I think it looks much more true to life...it was a bit washed out in the original photo....

later on I'll be babysitting...I promise there will be no actual sitting on babies...and really he's a toddler...so is it toddler sitting?....anyway....he's always fun to take pictures of....so I may have some good ones of him to tinker with after a while....

Still waiting for somebody (cough, The Man, cough) to put Photoshop on my puter...but...

I've been playing around with the dinky little editor that Microsoft Office has...it's a learning curve...that's for sure....and since I took most of the pictures off my laptop and put them on the ED...I just worked with what I had....if you don't like flowers...sorry....that's what I got...oh, and a dead mostly decapitated tree...cause that's how I roll...

I thought I would show the original...and then the tinkered version....please realize that these are by no means perfect or even right...I was just playing around...

tinkered shot....I added contrast and upped the green just a hair 

and now the flowers....my MIL calls these flags...I just call them irises....but I do know, that wayyy back...these originally came from the Man's grandmother's house....so they are kinda special...(if I ever move, I'm digging them up and taking them with me...LOL)

here is the original....really, it looks fine....but, I wanted to play with it...

I upped the contrast....adjusted the midtones a smidge, and added some blue....just a tiny, tiny bit...

why hello yellow....ok, so the pic looks fine...I guess...nothing wrong with it really....but I don't know...I thought it was a little washed out...

so, once again I upped the contrast and then added some orangey-yellow to make it pop...

same flower as before I just zoomed in a bit....looks good, but a little washed out...

and here it is after I upped the contrast and popped the yellow tones......

so, what do you think?.....Not perfect I know....but, I think they look better...

maybe I'll take some more shots later today and see what I can do....
